We use a market leading ventilation system specifically designed to eradicate condensation and mould from your property. By positively pressurising the property it forces out any damp humid air through the natural leakage points found in all dwellings. The system will be adjusted to cater for the particular requirements of your property and provide twenty air volume changes a day.
For properties with a loft, we recommend a Nuaire Drimaster and for properties without lofts (such as ground floor flats, flat roofed properties or properties with cathedral ceilings) we would recommend a Nuaire Flatmaster. Added benefits of both these systems include reduced radon levels and much lower allergen levels creating a much healthier living environment.
Typically, for a two bedroom house or flat, during the winter months, these systems use 6 watts of electricity per hour so only cost in the region of 30p a week to run. An automatic thermal cut-out means the running costs for Drimasters, during the summer months, are much less.
We provide a free initial survey to measure the Relative Humidity (RH) and determine the actual cause of the condensation and mould. We need to establish that there is no rising damp, penetrating damp or plumbing leaks to ensure that one of our systems will cure the problem. The survey will also establish whether additional direct extraction from perhaps kitchen or bathrooms is required.
Once installed, in the optimum location, your new Positive Input Ventilation system will dilute and displace any wet, moist air in the building and replace it with drier filtered air from the loft or outside, giving measurable results within just a few days and cure the problem within a few weeks.
£645 Dri Eco HC - this is an all inclusive cost for the system, installation, electrical certificates, etc. The fan speed of the Dri Eco can be adjusted to deal equally effectively with properties that vary in size from a small one bedroom property to a large five bedroom property.
£725 Flatmaster - this is an all inclusive cost for the system, drilling the external wall, installation, ducting, electrical certificates, etc. The fan speed of the Flatmaster can be adjusted to deal equally effectively with flats that vary in size from a small studio flat to a large three bedroom apartment.
Obviously any extra ventilation related works (perhaps kitchen and bathroom extractors) identified as necessary in the survey will be at additional cost. In the extremely unlikely event of the system not working entirely to your satisfaction, we guarantee that we will remove it and refund your money in full.
Please note that all these costs are for systems installed within a 40 mile radius of Hayle. We will happily travel much further afield (including north Cornwall, Plymouth and parts of Devon - just ask) but will need to charge 75p per additional mile travelled to cover the extra time and fuel costs.
£795 - Dri Eco Heat HC includes a 500 watt heater with thermostat that automatically switches the heater on whenever the input air temperature falls below a pre-set adjustable minimum of between 2°C and 20°C (usually it is set at 12°C). The heater does not improve the effectiveness of the system but simply removes any possibility of a cool draught. Obviously the heater increases the running costs.
£975 - Drimaster 365 provides year round ventilation and is supplied with an automatic temperature sensor. By running throughout the year this system is particularly effective at in reducing high Radon levels.
£825 - Flatmaster 2000 includes an integral 300 watt heater with thermostat that automatically switches the heater on whenever the input air temperature falls below a preset adjustable minimum of between 2°C and 20°C (usually it is set at 12°C). The heater does not improve the effectiveness of the system but simply removes any possibility of a cool draught. Obviously the heater increases the running costs.
